2008 Nan/Lacey Vacation

Lacey and her college friends take a trip together every year. This year they included the moms. We all met in Rapid City, South Dakota on July 26, 2008. That night we celebrated Lacey's 30th birthday. The next day we went to Mount Rushmore and walked the Presidential Trail. Then we traveled to Wyoming. We slept in the Occidental Hotel in Buffalo, Wyoming. We went to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. In the Grand Tetons, we rafted on Snake River with the Grand Tetons in the background. Later that day, we hiked up to Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls. In Yellowstone, we saw Old Faithful, Upper and Lower Falls at Artist Point, West Thumb Geyser, stage coach ride in Pleasant Valley in the Roosevelt area of the park and visited the Mammoth Springs. On the last day we traveled to Billings, Montana for our flights back home. On the way to Billings we drove thru Bearfoot Mountain and the scenic view. We played in the snow on top of the mountain. Later that day when we arrived in Billings the temperature was 102. It was a bon temps and we have many memories of our trip.
