Van & Christa

Joseph (Van), in Blue Jeans, (son of Patrick) and Christa Theriot firing 50 caliber machine guns at Fort Bliss. We were invited out to Fort Bliss to meet the soldiers and tour the new facilities of the 1st Armored Division of the U.S. Army. They invited us out to participate in a Field exercise and it was a blast. Christa had never done anything like this before. After suiting up in all the protective gear that the soldiers must wear, we were given a few minutes of training and then shoot at targets located from 300 to 900 hundred yards away. Much to our surprise, we were able to hit most of them.

During our stay in El-Paso we took time to go into the mountains while enjoying the wonderful weather.
