We had an eventful holiday season. We sold our home in Austin and moved into a suburb of Houston called Friendswood. This fall, Madlein turned 3 and started preschool. Freya is trying desperately to talk and to crawl already at 7 months. At Thanksgiving, I came home for a quick trip and went to my 20 year high school reunion. I enjoyed seeing my old friends and teachers from Mt. Carmel in New Iberia. The rest of the holidays are a blur, but we did have help from Johnell and Howard for the move to Houston. They showed up with food, presents and the pickup truck ready to load/unload us at our destination. They also provided the much needed support/help with the girls, of course. Thanks, Mom and Dad! We couldn't have done it without you. Plans for a house warming party are in the works. At this point, we are still ankle deep in boxes and packing material. Love to all the family.
