Shae Bonin UL Monroe

Today in Monroe, Shae received her white coat at a ceremony for dental hygiene school.  At the ceremony, the head of the department said white coat symbolizes the first step for them becoming professionals. They had to get their own patients to work last week. Eric volunteered to be the patient. A celebratory celebration with family was held last night. She will finish in May of 2021.  Since freshman year in high school she always wanted to do something in the dental field, and decided on dental hygiene. She was persistent and did not give up trying to get into the hygiene program. It took 3 tries (2 years) before getting accepted. She worked as a dental assistant and took night classes at UL while waiting to get in. Congrats Shae. We are so happy and proud your following your dream. Shae is Chad's daughter, Linda and Eric's granddaughter and Aunt Sis great granddaughter.
