Jude and Andrew

On July 6, Andrew and I were joined in civil partnership in Worcester, England. In England, civil partnerships give same-sex couples identical rights and responsibilities as marriage. My mom, my dad, Monique and Luke, as well as other friends and family members from the states were able to attend, and we spent the next several days touring England in two vans.

This is a photograph taken at the ceremony. Also pictured are the two witnesses, my brother Luke and Andrew's friend Tracy.

After the ceremony, Andrew's brother Steve and his sister-in-law Martine hosted a garden party in our honor at their home.

We rode on The London Eye, which is a huge Ferris Wheel on the Thames River. This is the view from the top.

This is an ancient stone circle in Avebury. It's fourteen times larger than Stonehenge. We made a stop here on our drive down to the coast.
