Uncle Shine and Aunt Anna hosted the 4th of July picnic again this year. Sorry some of you missed it, especially Jack and Aunt Sis. But we managed to have a good time. Aunt Sive recently had knee surgery and could not move too much. Lisa and Eddie announced their soon to be wedding. Congrats to them. Pat Sue and Uwell joined us this year. What a wonderful surprise. Thanks Jude for calling your mom to let her know. We had boiled crawfish, crab stew, fried fish, fried eggplant, an assortment of extra dishes, many desserts. Desserts included Aunt Anna Lee's candy cookies, Iva's pecan cake, pralines, banana pudding, Sue's l'orielle de cochon (fried pastry with syrup and pecans poured on it while still hot from hot grease), Shine's watermelon. Another nice picnic with family. Thanks for having us.
