For those that don't know Allen, he is a cousin. He is the grandson of Nonc (Uncle) Martin and Tante (Aunt) Monique (Mom-mom Sylvains sister). He, wife, Yulia and children are currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malayasia. The camp is on the forks of Lake La Rose, almost 4 miles due East of the Boat Landing in Catahoula. Shine, & Cheese, and them all know where it is, Cheese for sure, because him and Norbet came hunt one time and we visited on the porch for a while. I'm sure your dad went back there a few times too. Martin (Pop Pop), Nonc Beb (Uncle Howard), & Nonc Miko (My Dad's brother) built the original camp in 1950. The old camp flooded in 1973, and Nonc Beb, Harvey, Herman and I built a new one just next door, and we put the elevation of the floor at the high water mark on the old camp. After Nonc Beb died, I bought the camp from Taunt Na, and added on to what it is today, that was around 1997. We have spent many a good times there, and it looks like our decision to put the floor at the height of the 1973 flood paid off.
